How to build an intelligent laying hen farm?

The raising technology and equipment level of large-scale laying hen farms have been improved, and the standardized feeding mode is generally adopted. Young chickens and laying hens are reared in separate farms, and an all-in, all-out feeding mode and scientific immunization procedures are adopted.

Realize the automation of laying hen feeding, drinking water, egg collection, manure collection and environmental control, which improves the level of epidemic prevention and production efficiency.

(1) Battery chicken cages

Large-scale laying hen farms should use battery chicken cages, which are divided into stacked chicken cages for brooding and laying hens.

(2) Cascade chicken cage brooding

In order to meet the needs of brooding and rearing, the stacked brooding and rearing chicken cages are divided into brooding layer and rearing layer. The quality and uniformity of the replacement hens are the key issues, which will affect the future egg production performance.

The drinking water supply for the chicks adopts the nipple drinking line, which can be adjusted according to the size of the chicken, so as to ensure sufficient water supply from the day old.

(4) Breeding

After 6 weeks of age, the pullets are divided equally among the rearing tiers of the cage. Breeding chickens eat feed directly from the trough. Pullets can feed from above the bars until transfer at 18 weeks of age. In the rearing tier, nipple drinkers are installed in the rear of the cage interior to ensure that each bird has easy access to water.

(5) Laying hen breeding in stacked chicken cages

After 18 weeks of age, transfer to stacked laying hen cages, adopt chain or driving feeding system and nipple drinking fountains to create a good environment in the henhouse, so that the egg production performance and environmental factors of the chickens can reach the most ideal state.

Large-scale laying hen farms should adopt a high-standard egg collection system to meet reliability, easy and gentle operation.

The egg collection system is equipped with an egg grader and a packer. Eggs are sent to the room equipped with grading machines and packing machines. Disposable egg trays and packing boxes should be used, and the production date should be marked, which can not only ensure the quality of eggs, but also help epidemic prevention.

(7) Use nipple-type drinking water system for water supply

In order for laying hens to grow healthily, fresh and clean water should be supplied. Therefore, a reliable water supply system must be used, which must be pollution-free and easy to drink.

Nipple drinking system includes pressure control system with flushing for central water supply or single side water supply: nipple; water level indicator with swivel protection; aluminum plate and suspension.

The water source control device is very important and is installed between the water source and the drinking fountain. Correct water pressure is controlled by a pressure regulator. A diverter ensures timely use of the doser and a filter ensures clean drinking water.

(8) Feeding with automatic feeding system

The feed tower includes internal and external storage towers. The tower body is made of galvanized steel plate or glass fiber reinforced plastic material. The size of the tower is determined by the daily feed consumption and the required storage time.

② Feed transportation system

In order to ensure good and stable air temperature and environmental conditions in the chicken house, it is necessary to install a ventilation equipment, including air intake and exhaust equipment, a fully automatic control system for heating equipment and an emergency start system.

House ventilation includes horizontal ventilation, longitudinal ventilation and combined ventilation systems. A coop with a cage management system works well with a combined ventilation system. If the outside temperature is low, the ventilation system operates in horizontal mode to keep the indoor temperature stable; if the outside temperature is high, the ventilation system operates in vertical mode to provide high-speed cold air with low energy consumption.

When ventilating in the horizontal mode, fresh air enters the room evenly through the intake covers installed on both sides of the wall, and the exhaust air is discharged outside by the fans installed on the gable wall; when ventilating in the longitudinal mode, the air inlet is closed, and the air is drawn by the channel air inlet to The high wind speed is sucked into the room longitudinally, and the cooling effect can be improved by using the wet curtain.
